Grammy Award winning Producer/Mixer/Engineer/Musician, Tom Biller has had a hand in some of the most groundbreaking works of the past decade.  After a stint working as an engineer with Jon Brion in the earlier part of this decade, including albums by Kanye West, Fiona Apple, and Elliot Smith, as well as recording and mixing critically-acclaimed soundtracks such as "Punch Drunk Love," "I Heart Huckabees," and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," Biller set out on his own.  He became an integral part of the burgeoning Silver Lake music community, helping launch the careers of Silversun Pickups and Sea Wolf, while recording their material at his first studio, Beer Wine Fish.

In early 2006, Biller began working as a producer, in addition to his award winning recording and mixing talents, producing indie acts,
Benevento/Russo Duo and Imaad Wasif (Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sebadoh) on their albums.  Tom has continued his work in film as well, recording music in many of Judd Apatow's recent string of hits, including "Super Bad" and "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" among others. He recently completed work co-producing and performing along with Karen O and the Kids on the recently-released soundtrack for Spike Jonze adaptation of "Where the Wild Things Are."  He has also just completed the highly anticipated album by Liars, which will be released in 2010 on Mute.  Finally, Tom is wrapping up production on the debut EP by his own band, Shadow Shadow Shade (formerly known as Afternoons, who have been receiving rave reviews from all who have witnessed their sound, including the Los Angeles Times.
